It feels so long since I posted any work here.
Well this is my Autumn girl thingy.
If you read my live journal [link] you’ve seen the work in progress photos of her.
She’s an inset panel for an art quilt. But I didn’t have the time or the money to make her into a quilt as I have a deadline and other work to finish.
She’s about 30” x 30”.
I used lots of fabrics, lots of embroidery, I melted it, hand sewed into it, added image transfers of my own autumn photos, applied embossing metal and numerous beads.
I fiddled with the contrast and brightness until she looked right on my monitor so hopefully she looks Ok on yours.
Her lips look so bright because they're beaded and they caught the flash.

wao, this is absolutley amazing!! there is soo much going on in it, and you used so many techniques....so many textures, i really wanna reach out and touch it!! i love how you do stuff. :)
